Mobile Phones now have the capability to access internet. This means that it can be incredibly easy to gain data. It practically gives a whole new meaning to the term, having the earth at your fingertips. Mostly, the more advanced the phone is, the better it can access the internet. No longer are we limited to viewing text based webpages on are phones. We can actually view videos on our mobile phones these days. The mobile phone has become a really powerful tool for information collection that will only become more sophisticated as more research is done.

One of the factors that played a large role in revolutionizing the role of cell phones is the installment of various multimedia devices into its makeup. First and foremost is the camera. Once people were able to start capturing pictures, it became easier than ever to record events. This became especially pronounced when, not long after, video recording was also made possible. Further more, mobile phones also became music players. Suddenly, CD players and other portable music players practically became obsolete. After all, why would you carry around all that excess bulk when you could have it all on your mobile phone?
